KATAMA ASSOCIATION
We are a non-profit membership group dedicated to the preservation of the iconic rustic charm and natural beauty of the Katama section of Edgartown, Massachusetts,
located on the island of Martha's Vineyard.
Katama includes the sweeping Norton Point barrier beach and Katama Bay, South Beach and Edgartown Great Pond, the Katama plains, and the adjacent low-lying scrub oak and pine treed lands extending north and west.
The land, bay, and ocean provide fertile grounds for farming, gardening, boating, sailing, surf-casting, shell-fishing, crabbing, surfing, boogie-boarding, kite-surfing, and unsurpassed beach-going.
